The person of interest in the homicide being investigated by the Hannibal Police Department has been identified as Timothy M. Brokes, 34, of Hannibal. Brokes is to be considered armed and dangerous. He was last known to be driving a black GMC Canyon pickup truck with Missouri license plates 4MV061. The female victim has been identified as 30 year old Brittany S. Gauch, also of Hannibal.
***ORIGINAL RELEASE***
Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to the 1100 block of Summer St at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday evening for a report of a deceased female. When officers arrived they discovered a deceased 30 year old female with multiple gunshot wounds to her torso. This incident is believed to be related to the shooting being investigated by the Marion County Sheriffs Department, which occurred on County Rd 432 earlier in the evening. The Hannibal Police Department has a person of interest we are attempting to locate at this time. At this point, this appears to be an isolated incident, due to the parties involved having a personal relationship. This incident remains under investigation and more information will be released when appropriate.
