Sunday afternoon, Officers of the Hannibal Police Department received information of a possible methamphetamine lab at a residence in the 600 block of Virginia. Officers contacted the resident, 39 year old Kamber L. Lackey, of Hannibal, and received consent to search her residence. During the search, officers located several items commonly used in the production of methamphetamine, several items of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of what is believed to be methamphetamine. Lackey was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance. Lackey was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
