Detectives assigned to the Hannibal Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant Tuesday (July 30) afternoon at a residence in the 2100 block of Spruce St. During the course of the search detectives located a substance believed to be Heroin, 2 semi automatic pistols and material commonly used to distribute illegal narcotics. 27 year old Tateouna R. Agnew, of Hannibal, was taken into custody at the residence and charged with Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Agnew was placed in the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold pending warrants. This search warrant was part of a continuing investigation into illegal distribution of narcotics in the area.
