On Monday (9/24/12) night at approximately 9:43 p.m., Officers of the Hannibal Police Department received information of possible drug activity in a room of a local hotel, in the 4100 block of Market St. Officers made contact with the occupants and received consent to search the room. During the course of the search, officers located several items of drug paraphernalia, items commonly used in the packaging and distribution of illegal narcotics and a substance believed to be methamphetamine. 28 year old Teela C. Howe, of Hannibal, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and an active Probation and Parole warrant. Howe was released to the Marion County Jail pending warrants.
