On Thursday, September 20th, officers of the Hannibal Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Broadway after receiving multiple calls of a female chasing a male with a knife. When officers arrived they discovered the male victim had been transported to the Hannibal Regional Hospital, by a private citizen, for lacerations to his head and face. The suspect, Mia N Buckner, (21 of Hannibal) was still on scene. Buckner was taken into custody for Domestic Assault 2nd Degree and released to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold. The victim was released from the hospital after receiving medical treatment.
