**UPDATE**

On Wednesday Afternoon Officer of the Hannibal Police Department arrested 59 year old Otamae M. Miller, of Hannibal on charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance. Millers arrest stems from the search warrants executed by the Hannibal Police Department Narcotics Unit last Friday morning. The investigation is on-going and more arrests are pending. Miller is being held at the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold.

*Hannibal Police Serve 3 Search Warrants*

Shortly after midnight Friday morning, Officers of the Hannibal Police department received information of a possible methamphetamine lab in the 1000 block of Bird St. Officers contacted 42 year old Tracy L Garrett, of Hannibal, and discovered she had an active Probation and Parole warrant. When officers entered the residence to arrest Garrett they located several items commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. The residence was secured and a search warrant was obtained. Officers executed the search warrant and seized several items and ingredients used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Garrett was arrested for the Probation and Parole warrant and police are seeking charges for Manufacturing A Controlled Substance. This investigation is still underway and more arrests are pending. At shortly before 10:00 a.m. Friday morning Detectives of the Hannibal Police Department Narcotics Unit, assisted by the Special Response Team, simultaneously executed (2) narcotics search warrants in the 200 block of N. Main and 700 block of Cedar Creek. Several items commonly used in the manufacture of Crack Cocaine, Drug Paraphernalia, Powder Cocaine and a large amount of U.S. currency were seized. These search warrants are the result of a larger on-going investigation and arrests are pending. More information will be released as the investigation continues.
