On Friday, July 28th at 04:02 a.m. Hannibal Police officers responded to the railroad crossing near S 6th and Colfax for a report of a pedestrian being hit by a train. When officers arrived they located a 31 year old Hannibal man underneath the train with severe injuries. The victim was transported by Marion County Ambulance. This incident remains under investigation and more information will be released when appropriate.
