On Wednesday, 3-14-18 at approximately 7:19pm an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on US 61 near Fair Oaks. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The passenger, Morice A Trimble 32 of Hannibal, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.
On Thursday, 3-15-18, a warrant was filed for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of marijuana. Possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon are felonies and possession of marijuana is a misdemeanor. Trimble’s bond is set at $25,000 and he remains in the Marion County Jail.
