At 10:11 a.m. Monday morning (May 27th), an officer with the ACES unit of the Hannibal Police Department made contact with a two subjects in a car in the area of St Charles and Darr Streets due to the driver having a municipal warrant. After the driver was taken into custody, a substance believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located in the car. The driver, Brian Stolte, 39, of Hannibal, was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia as well as his active warrant. He was transported to the Police Department where he was booked and released pending the issuance of warrants. He was able to post bond on his municipal warrant.
