On Tuesday 08/23/2016 at approximately 8:45pm Hannibal Police Officers assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES) were on foot patrol in the 200 block of South Griffith. Officers observed a male subject who they knew to have a warrant for his arrest. When officers attempted to contact the subject he ran and was apprehended a short distance away. The subject, Vashaun Dorsey 19 of Hannibal, was arrested on a Marion County warrant for probation violation, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana. Dorsey was transported to the Marion County Jail and is currently held on $20,000 cash only bond.
