On Monday, 01/08/2018 at 6:00 p.m. a Hannibal man came to the Hannibal Police Department to report being robbed by a male with a knife. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim. The victim gave a description of the male and the last known location of the suspect, which was the Oakwood area. At 11:44 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Singleton in reference to a suspicious male matching the description of the robbery suspect. Officers located the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident. The victim was not injured during the incident. On Tuesday, 01/09/2018 a warrant was issued for Joshua L Watkins, 34 of Hannibal, charging him with Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Watkins bond was set at $5000.00 cash or surety. He remains in the Marion County Jail.
