On July 27th at 06:09 a.m. officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to Hayden Park Lane due to a suspicious person. Callers reported the subject, who was wearing ripped jean and a motorcycle helmet, was walking around houses looking in windows. Officers made contact with the subject, Ryan M Thompson (35 of Hannibal) and placed him in custody for detoxification. A subsequent search of Thompsons person revealed a large amount of what is believed to be methamphetamine and other controlled substances. Thompson was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
