Thursday afternoon, Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to the 2200 block of Hope St for a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived they were told by an adult female that she had been in an altercation with 32 year old Raheem R. Oliver, of Hannibal. During the altercation, Oliver allegedly kicked a 4 year old child who was in the residence with them. Oliver then fled the scene on foot. After a short search of the area, Oliver was located a few blocks away. Oliver resisted arrest and after an officer deployed a Tazer, was taken into custody. He was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail for Domestic Assault, pending a warrant. Neither of the victims were treated for injuries.
