Hannibal Man Arrested for Discharge of Weapon
On Tuesday November 12th a warrant was issued in the Circuit Court of Marion County charging Otis Gauch (41) of Hannibal, with Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The bond was set at $25,000 cash only and Gauch remains in custody at the Marion County Jail. On November 11th Hannibal Officers located Gauch at a local business where he was taken into custody. The arrest was a result of a November 2nd investigation in the 1700 block of 35th Street where officers were called in reference to a disturbance where a firearm had been discharged. Officers responded and found there were no injuries, but the suspect had fled the area in a vehicle. During the course of the investigation a search warrant was served at the residence and a firearm was recovered.
