On Friday, February 10th, Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to aresidence in the 200 block of N. Levering regarding possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers located Russell L LaFond (17 of Hannibal) inside the residence. LaFond had gained access to the home by breaking rear window. LaFond was taken into custody without incident. He was placed on a 24 hour hold for Burglary second degree and released to the Marion County Jail.
