On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the 10th Judicial Circuit of Marion County issued a warrant for 26-year-old Angelynne Gaumond of Hannibal. Gaumond was charged with Burglary 1st, Domestic Assault 1st, Armed Criminal Action, and Resisting Arrest for a Felony. The charges stem from an incident that morning at approximately 4:50 a.m. when Hannibal Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of Grace for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with a stab wound to his abdomen. The victim reported that Gaumond forcefully entered the residence and assaulted him with a knife. The male party was treated on scene by Marion County Ambulance personnel for non-life threatening injuries.

Gaumond was located, arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she remains on a $75,000 cash-only bond.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation, and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
