The deceased male recovered from the river Saturday morning has been identified as a 65 year old Quincy IL resident. An autopsy was performed by the Boone County Medical Examiner. The investigation is on-going, but at this time there are no signs to believe foul play was involved.
At 09:48 Saturday morning Hannibal Police Department officers were called to the river front, near the marina, for a body floating in the river. A male body was recovered by the Hannibal Fire Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Hannibal detectives were called to the scene and a death investigation is being conducted at this time. More information will be released as the investigation continues.
