On Wednesday (01/09/13) Officers of the Hannibal Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 19 year old Dylan R. Tate, of rural Marion County, in connection with recent burglaries occurring from November to December of 2012. Another suspect, 25 year old Joshua S. Miller of Hannibal, was being held in the Pike County Jail on an unrelated Ralls County warrant. Warrants issued by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County were served on Tate and Miller on Wednesday January 9th.  The warrants charged both men with Burglary 2nd Degree and had a bond set at $50,000.00. Tate and Miller are allegedly involved in burglaries at the following locations: (2) church burglaries in Hannibal – First Assembly of God Church (1901 Missouri Ave) and Embassy Christian Center (600 North St), (2) residential burglaries in New London, (2) residential burglaries in rural Ralls County, (1) church burglary in New London and  (1) church burglary in Marion County. Items taken in the burglaries include: firearms, computers, cash, jewelry, power and hand tools, safes, electronics and televisions. Some of the stolen items have been located and recovered. Miller remains in the Pike county Jail. Tate is being held in the Marion County Jail. Further charges are pending on both men. The Hannibal Police Department co-investigated the burglaries with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the New London Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
