On Monday, December 14th, at approximately 8:40pm officers with the Hannibal Police Department were called to a domestic disturbance in the 4000 block of Pushmataha. During the investigation it is believed Neil A. Lewton, 39 of Hannibal, intentionally drove his vehicle into a parked vehicle that was in the driveway of a residence forcing the parked vehicle into the home. Lewton then went into the home and damaged property within. Lewton left the area but officers located him a short time later in the 3200 block of Warren Barrett. Lewton was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail on a twenty four hour hold pending formal charges. No injuries were reported during the incident. There was apparent structural damage to the home as result of the incident.

On Tuesday, December 15th a warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of Marion County charging Lewton with Burglary First Degree. His bond is set at $25,000.00 cash only. Lewton remains in the Marion County Jail.
