On Saturday, February 27, at approximately 5:09 pm officers with the Hannibal Police Department responded to 211 Munger Lane, Sticks and Stones, for an assault. An altercation had taken place between two employees in the kitchen. During the altercation Keith C. Scott, 36 of Hannibal, allegedly held a knife to the victim’s throat during the assault. Scott was taken into custody without incident. He was taken to the Marion County Jail and placed on a twenty-four hour hold pending formal charges.
On Sunday, February 28, the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County issued a warrant for Scott. He is charged with First Degree Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Scott’s bond was set at $25,000.00 cash. He remains in the Marian County Jail. No serious injuries were reported as result of this incident.
