On Sunday at about 6:30pm officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to a report of a male attacking two other males in the 700 block of Church Street possibly with a screwdriver. Officers responded and investigated and found that allegedly the three men involved had been at the same house and one of them became angry over food and assaulted the other two men. The victims were described as a 24 year old man, and a 31 year old man, both from Hannibal, both sustained minor injuries. Arrested at the scene was William M White 47, of Hannibal on (1) count of Assault 2nd degree (felony) and (1) count of domestic assault 3rd degree (misdemeanor) White was transported to the Marion County Jail and held on a 24 hour hold. On Monday August 15th a criminal arrest warrant was issued in Marion County charging White with (2) counts of Assault 3rd degree, his bond was set at 20,000.00 cash or bond. He remains in the Marion County Jail.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
