Arrest Warrants Issued for Property Damage Cases

Arrest warrants were issued Thursday afternoon from the Associate 10th Circuit Court of Marion County for Jeramy A. Mansfield and Elizabeth K. Mansfield charging them with Tampering with a Motor Vehicle – 1st Degree. Bond was set at $10,000 cash only for both.

Hannibal officers arrested two suspects Wednesday for their alleged involvement in the multiple property damage reports received early Wednesday morning. The suspects were identified as Jeramy A. Mansfield, 17 and Elizabeth K. Mansfield, 20 both of Hannibal. They were transported to the Marion County Sheriff Department where they are being held on a 24-hour hold pending issuance of arrest warrants.

Officers of the Hannibal Police Department received 16 reports of property damage Wednesday morning. Vehicles and property on Sierra, Union, O’Fallon and Walnut streets were spray painted sometime overnight. A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
