 Hannibal officers arrested a 31 year old male suspect Tuesday morning after it was reported he pointed a handgun at a another man who had been trimming trees near his residence in the 200 blk. of Shepherd in Hannibal.  According to reports the suspect had engaged in a verbal altercation with one of the workers that had been trimming trees near his residence when he displayed the handgun and pointed it at the worker who retreated from the area.  After the officers had taken the suspect to the Hannibal Police Department he was eventually transported to the Marion County Sheriff Department and held there on a 24-hour hold pending issuance of an arrest warrant. On Wednesday an arrest warrant was issued from the 10th Judicial Circuit Court in Marion County for the suspect identified as Kenneth W. Green of Hannibal charging him with – Unlawful Use Of A Weapon (Class D Felony) with bond set at $25,000 cash only.
