Warrants were issued December 7th, by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County on 3 subjects arrested for their involvement in the November 20th Park Ave shooting. Thomas P Willemarck (18, of Curryille MO) and Stephanie L Pettitt (25 of Hannibal, and formerly from Willow Springs MO) were charged with Attempted Robbery 1st Degree. John C Newman (22 of Hannibal) was charged with Attempted Robbery 1st Degree and Assault 1st Degree. All three suspects bond were set at $100,000.00 cash only. They remain in the Marion County Jail.

Hannibal officers arrested four subjects for their alleged involvement in the shooting that occurred of a man at his residence in the 1700 block of Park Ave. on November 20th.  Those arrested are one adult female, two adult males and one male juvenile. Their arrests are as a result of the investigation by Hannibal Police detectives into the shooting incident. Further information will be released later today.

The Hannibal Police Department is continuing follow up on the November 20st shooting on Park Ave. The information gathered thus far, indicates this to be an isolated incident. There are several leads being followed up on and any substantial developments will be released when appropriate.

 

***ORIGINAL RELEASE*** Sent November 21, 2016

At 10:45 p.m. Sunday night, officers of the Hannibal Police Department were dispatched to the 1700 block of Park Ave for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located 29 year old Hannibal male with a gun shoot wound to his abdomen. The victim was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment and later transported to Columbia Mo. This incident is under investigation and further information will be released when appropriate.
