On Thursday, August 18th, the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County issued a warrant for Michael G. Beach, 37 years of age of Kansas City Missouri. Beach is charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The charge stems from an incident that began on Wednesday, August 17th at approximately 9:11pm in the 100 block of Huckleberry Heights. Officers with the Hannibal Police Department were called to a disturbance between two males. During the investigation it was determined Beach had threatened another male with a hammer. Beach was arrested without incident and a hammer was recovered from the scene. Beach was transported to the Marion County Jail where he remains. His bond was set at $25,000.00 cash or surety. No injuries were reported from this incident.
