On 04/27/14, at about 3:53 PM, officers were dispatched to the intersection of US 61 and MO 168 due to an accident involving injury. It was reported a 2007 Volvo semi driven by a 68 year old male from Toronto, Canada was traveling south on US 61 when he drove through the red light at the intersection of MO 168. As the semi drove through the light it struck a west bound 2001 Ford F150 driven by a 42 year old Hannibal man. A passenger in the F150 reported minor injury and was transported to the Hannibal Regional Hospital by private vehicle. Both vehicles involved were towed from the scene. The semi driver was cited for running a stop light.
