***October 8, 2014 UPDATE***

On October 6, 2014 warrants were issued in the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County, charging 27 year old Cuda L. Dodd, 23 year old Amanda J. Lehenbauer and 26 year old Krystal Tresler, all of Hannibal, with Murder 2nd Degree. The warrants stem from the October 8, 2013 robbery and murder of 62 year old Adrienne Arnett at Abels Service Station in the 100 block of Shinn Lane.  Tresler was arrested on October 7, 2014 at her place of employment. Dodd and Lehenbauer, who are both in the Missouri Department of Corrections on other charges, were served their warrants by D.O.C officials. Bond for all three suspects was set at $100,000.00 cash only. Tresler was released to the Marion County Jail.

***October 9 UPDATE***

A warrant was issued on Tuesday October 8th from the Circuit Court of Marion County Associate Division charging Gary James Wiltermood, III, 22 and Michael Alan Studer , 30, both of Hannibal with the Class A felony of murder in the second degree.  Wiltermood was taken into custody by Hannibal officers and detectives early Tuesday morning and Studer was arrested  just prior to 2:00 pm in the afternoon.  The arrests were a result of an investigation by Hannibal police detectives in the homicide of Adrienne Arnett, 61, of Hannibal while she was working at the Abel’s store located at 100 Shinn Lane in the early morning on Tuesday.  Bond was set for both Wiltermood and Studer at $500,000 cash only and are currently being held at the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.  The investigation into this incident is on-going.

***UPDATE***

The victim of the homicide that occurred earlier this morning is identified as 61 year old Adrienne F. Arnett, of Hannibal. Officers and detectives have made a series of arrests of subjects for their involvement in this incident. The arrests began shortly after the incident and continued through this afternoon. Further information will be provided Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Hannibal Police Department.

 

ORIGINAL RELEASE

At 03:04 a.m. Tuesday morning, officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to Abel’s Quick Shop at 100 Shinn Ln in regards to a robbery / homicide. This incident is under investigation and more information will be released later today.
