On Thursday, December 19th, three suspects were arrested at a local pharmacy for attempting to fraudulently obtain prescriptions drugs. The arrests were result of an investigation which began on December 4th after the pharmacy contacted the Hannibal Police department regarding fraudulent prescriptions being filled by unknown subjects. A search of the suspects’ vehicle resulted in the discovery of medication obtained through fraudulent prescriptions at several locations throughout Missouri. Officers also located a small amount of what is believed to be marijuana. The subjects arrested are listed below:
- Siende L Holliday, 43, of Davenport IA
- Fraudulently attempt to obtain a controlled substance (two counts)
- Forgery
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Travis A Bonaparte, 22, of Chicago IL
- Fraudulently attempt to obtain a controlled substance
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Derrius D Cole, 22, of Chicago IL
- Fraudulently attempt to obtain a controlled substance
- Possession of a controlled substance
Holliday and Bonaparte were placed on 24-hour holds at the Marion County Jail. Cole was released pending further review. Cole and Bonaparte were also issued city summons for marijuana possession. On December 20, 2018 warrants were filed on Holliday and Bonaparte through the 10th Judicial Circuit Court for the above listed charges. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only for each subject. This investigation remains ongoing and additional charges or arrest may follow.
