On Monday, October 8, 2018, officers assigned to the Hannibal Police Department’s Anti-Crime Enforcement Unit (ACES) executed a narcotics search warrant in the 1500 block of 29th Street. During the search officers located methamphetamine and paraphernalia in close proximity to a 4 year old juvenile living in the residence. Amber Gregory, (23 of Hannibal), was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a child 1st degree, and resisting arrest. Gregory was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Marion County Jail. The Children’s Division was called to the scene and arranged for placement of the child.
Later on October 8, 2018 a warrant was issued through the Marion County 10th Judicial Circuit Court charging Gregory with Possession of a controlled substance, and Endangering the welfare of a child. Bond was set at $25,000 cash only. The Hannibal Police Department was assisted by the Marion County Children’s Division.
