On Wednesday, May 6th a warrant was issued for Eric S. Pulsifer charging him with Second Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. His bond is set at $100,000.00 cash only.  Pulsifer remains in the Marion County Jail.

 

****UPDATE 1****

 

On Tuesday, May 5th detectives with the Hannibal Police Department took Eric S. Pulsifer, 32 of Monroe City (formerly of Hannibal), into custody for his reported involvement in the shooting of Justin Sims, 29 of Hannibal. The shooting occurred on Sunday, May 3rd. The Hannibal Police Department  was assisted by Monroe City Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Northeast Missouri Task Force.

 

****ORIGINAL RELEASE****

On Sunday, May 3rd at approximately 10:56 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Broadway for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers discovered a 29 year old Hannibal man was being transported by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital. The male was later flown to another facility for treatment of his injuries. The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident. Detectives continue to investigate the matter.
