On Wednesday September 12th, Hannibal Police Department received reports of counterfeit hundred dollar bills being passed at local businesses. On Thursday the police department released an image through social media, of a subject involved. An employee of Walmart, who saw the image, recognized the male in the store. The employee called the police and two subjects,  Brashawn D Noble (22 of Chicago IL) and Saeed W Muhammed (25 of Markham IL) were located and arrested. The subjects were in possession of counterfeit money at the time of their arrest. Officers located the vehicle the subjects were traveling in and a search warrant was severed on the vehicle. During the search, $7,300 in counterfeit money was located. Both suspects were transported to Marion County Jail and placed on 24 hour holds pending prosecutor review.
