On Thursday, October 2, 2014, detectives with the Hannibal Police Departments Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2700 block of Hope St. During the course of the search a large amount of cash, a weapon and a large amount of what is believed to be crack cocaine was seized. Two subjects, 49 year old Howard M. Jackson and 35 year old Beverly A. Collier, both of Hannibal, were arrested without incident at the residence. Both Jackson and Collier were placed on 24 hour olds at the Marion County Jail. On October 02, 2014 warrants were issued by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court charging Jackson with Distributing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Jackson’s bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only. A warrant was also issued on Collier for Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Her bond was set at $25,000.00. Both remain in the Marion County Jail.
