At 7:21 p.m. Tuesday night (April 30) officers of the Hannibal Police Department received several calls of shots fired in the 1200 block of Center St. When officers arrived, they learned Damien M McCulley (21 of Hannibal) had gotten into an altercation with his neighbors. During the altercation McCulley retrieved a shotgun from his residence and discharged it. No one was injured during the incident. McCulley was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Armed Criminal Action. Also arrested was Randy D Mason (30 of Hannibal) for Tampering of Physical Evidence. McCulley was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail. Mason was released pending prosecutor review.
