On Saturday night (October 20th) Hannibal Police Department officers were called to a fight in progress at the intersection of James Rd and US 61. When officers arrived, they were contacted by a 27 year old male, with significant head and facial injuries. The victim stated he had been assaulted by an unknown male, who had left the area. After receiving a description of the suspect and the vehicle he had fled in, officers located the suspect at a residence in the 3600 block of Atoka St. Jerome N Patrick (28 of St. Ann, MO) was arrested for Assault 2nd Degree, Domestic Assault and Property Damage. Patrick was placed an a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail. On October 21st, a Warrant issued charging Patrick with Assault 2nd Degree. Patricks bond was set at $10,000.00. He remains in the Marion County Jail. The victim was treated for his injuries at Hannibal Regional Hospital and released.
