On Monday, December 18, 2017, at approximately 10:28 pm officers of the Hannibal Police Department responded to the area of Country Club and Pleasant Street in response to a report of a one vehicle traffic crash with injuries. An investigation revealed a 2013 Ford Edge, driven by a 28 year old female from Hannibal, was traveling west on Pleasant at the intersection of Country Club drive when it ran off the road west of Country Club. The vehicle traveled down a large hill and stopped after colliding with multiple trees in a wooded area west of Country Club and just east of Taylor Street. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage. The female driver was transported by ambulance to the Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment. Charges are pending on the driver.
