****UPDATE****

 Warrants were issued Tuesday August 29^th by the 10^th Judicial Circuit Court, on the four suspects arrested Monday afternoon as a result of the burglary investigation. Christian Franklin and Gary Smith were charged with Burglary 2^nd Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Both charges are Class D Felonies.  June Smith and Joshua Christal were charged with Burglary 2^nd Degree, a Class D Felony.  Bond is set at $50,000 cash only for each suspect.  All suspects remain in the Marion County Jail.

****ORIGINAL RELEASE****

On Monday, 08/28/2017 at 1:49pm, Hannibal Police Officers were called to the area of Wyaconda and Patricia Lane for the report of a suspicious vehicle.  Officers checked the area but did not locate the vehicle. At 2:30pm officers were called to the 5200 block of Wyaconda for a burglary in progress.  Three subjects were contacted at a residence.  An officer observed the previously reported suspicious vehicle in the area and made contact with a fourth subject.  Christian W Franklin, 20 years of age, Joshua Christal, 18 years of age, and June B Smith, 35 years of age all of Hannibal was arrested for Burglary Second Degree.  Gary R Smith, 40 years of age also of Hannibal, was arrested with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Burglary Second Degree.
