On Monday 03/27/2017, Hannibal Police Officers assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES), executed a search warrant at 2506 Chestnut Street. The search warrant was a result of an investigation regarding suspected drug activity at the residence. During the course of the search officers located a substance believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Two occupants, Scott Colbert (46), and Candy Cabanatan (34) of Hannibal were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were released pending review by the Marion County Prosecuting Attorney.
