Shortly before 10:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, Officers of the Hannibal Police Departments Narcotics Unit, executed a narcotics search warrant in the 1500 block of 29th St. Two Hannibal residents, 28 year old Travis J. Whiteside and 25 year old Erica R. Sydnor, were arrested without incident. Both were arrested for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The Endangering the Welfare of a Child charge is due to a 1 year old child being present in the residence at the time. Whiteside was also charged with Tampering with Evidence and an active Contempt of Court Warrant. During the search of the residence, Officers located and seized drug paraphernalia, a substance believed to be Heroin, U.S. currency and a small amount of marijuana. Both subjects were placed on 24 hour holds at the Marion County Jail pending warrants.
