On Tuesday February 9th, at approximately 1:47AM officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to the 2500 block of Broadway for a report of a suspicious vehicle. According to officers reports a 26 year old Hannibal man was located asleep in the vehicle while it was running and in gear. Upon further investigation the man was arrested for several charges including: Possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine,) possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of a weapon and driving while intoxicated. Arrested was Deforrest L. Sims IV, 26 of Hannibal. He was taken to the Marion County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold pending the filing of formal charges
