The suspect involved in the foot pursuit with Hannibal Police officers, Monday afternoon, is identified as 25 year old Mark E. Foster, of Hannibal. Foster was arrested for an active Probation and Parole warrant and Resisting Arrest. Foster remains in the Marion County Jail pending warrants.

On 08/24/15, at about 3:20 PM, officers with the Hannibal Police Department Anti-Crime Unit observed a subject known to have a felony Probation and Parole warrant driving on Munger Lane and Stardust in Hannibal. The subject fled the area and was involved in a traffic crash a short time later on County Road 418 in rural Marion County. After crashing his vehicle he fled the scene on foot. Officers arrived in the area and pursued him on foot. He was located at about 3:53 PM moving through a creek near County Road 420. He was taken into custody without incident. This investigation is on-going and no further information will be released until deemed appropriate to do so.
