On Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 9:03 am, Hannibal Police Officers were called to Abel’s Quick Shop at 1201 Broadway in reference to a male who had threatened an employee with a weapon. A vehicle description was given with an Illinois license plate and the information was relayed to local law enforcement agencies requesting the vehicle be stopped if located due to the incident. While Hannibal Officers were completing statements with witnesses and the victim, a Pike County Illinois Sheriff located the vehicle on its way into the Quincy area. The vehicle was stopped and the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect, 41 year old Quincy resident, Duong Duy Tran is being held on charges from Hannibal for Assault in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
