On Saturday (June 7,) at 12:20am officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to the 800 block of Pleasant for a report of a delayed assault.  According to police reports, officers met with a 21 year old New London man who had a stab wound and was in the process of being transported by EMS to Hannibal Regional Hospital.  During the investigation, it was found that the assault/ stabbing took place in Huckleberry Park just prior to the call on Pleasant coming in.  The New London Man as well as another 22 year old New London man had traveled to the park to meet with another person when they were assaulted by a group of people.  During the assault both victims were stabbed.  After the assault; officers received information that the suspects had fled the area and may be in Pike County Missouri.  Three suspects were located and arrested in that area with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol as well as the Pike County Sheriff’s Department.  Both stabbing victims sought treatment at Hannibal Regional Hospital, the first was transported by Marion County Ambulance and the other went by personal vehicle.  No other injuries were reported to Police.  Suspect information and charges can be viewed below.

The three suspects that were arrested and later charged in the crime are asfollows: 

Lauren Sinclair, 21, of Hannibal is charged with (2) counts of Assault 2nd degree a class C felony, her bond was set at 100,000.00 cash only and she remains in the Marion County Jail.

Aaron Weatherby, 18, of Vandalia MO is charged with (2) counts of Assault 2nd degree a class C felony, his bond was set at 100,000.00 cash only and he remains in the Marion County Jail.

Zachary Kuntz, 24, of Eolia Mo is charged with (2) counts of Assault 2nd degree, a class C felony and (2) counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, a class D Felony, his bond was set at 100,000.00 cash only and he remains in the Marion County Jail.
