***UPDATE***
The driver of the vehicle involved in the Friday afternoon traffic crash, 27 year old Robert D. Majors, of Center MO, was arrested at the scene for Driving While Suspended. Pending the receipt of medical reports and further investigation, additional charges are expected, following the prosecutors review.
***ORIGINAL RELEASE***
At 1:04 p.m. Friday (12/27/13) afternoon officers of the Hannibal Police Department were dispatched by Marion County Emergency Dispatch to the 4400 block of Stardust in regards to a rollover accident. When officers arrived they found several vehicles were involved with one overturned, resting on its top. There were multiple victims with injuries ranging from minor to serious. One driver involved fled the scene and was apprehended a short distance from the accident and taken into custody. This incident remains under investigation and further information will be released when deemed appropriate.
