Logan Moore (age 7) visits with Chief Davis and other officers at the Hannibal Police Department.  Logan brought cookies in to show his suport for the officers. Logan was given a tour of the Police Department was given his very own badge and police car to take home.

"HPD Youth Outreach" June 8 2015

Sgt. Chad Collier interacting with youth. Collier was able to give out passes to the Hannibal Community Pool along with a voucher for concessions. This outreach program is sponsored by the Hannibal Police Department, Hannibal Parks Department, and The Hannibal Fraternal Order of Police.



"HPD Youth Outreach" May 26 2015

Hannibal Police officers are being encouraged this Summer and Fall to make an extra effort to interact with the community youth while conducting normal patrol duties. Interaction with the youth may range from throwing a football back in forth, playing a quick a quick game of "Horse" with a basketball or a variety of other similar activities. In addition The Hannibal Police Department, Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department and the Hannibal Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #20 joined together to provide fifty (50) "Free" one-time Community Pool admission and a $5.00 coupon for concessions.


"Bowling with Cops and Kids" January 31 2015

On Saturday 01/31/2015 Officers with the Hannibal Police Department participated in an event with the Hannibal Youth Bowling League. Officers spent a couple of hours meeting with local youth while learning a few things about bowling. The officers had the chance to bowl, but more importantly interact on a personal level with local youth. The event was sponsored by The Hannibal Fraternal Order of Police and Ten Pin Alley.


"Big Truck Night" @ Hannibal Middle School Oct. 6th 2014

Officers with the Hannibal Police Department took part in the "Big Truck Night" at the Hannibal Middle School on October 6th 2014.  Kids were able to try on some of the gear used by the Department, see some of the tools that are used and get a close look at a few of the different vehicles the Department uses.


"Scott's Chapel Block Party" September 6th 2014

September 6th 2014: Officer Victor Mathews passes out Hannibal Police Department Soccer Balls to local children.  HPD handed out more than 50 soccer balls at the Scott's Chapel Block Party.
